Sponsorship

Thanks from Inny Shamrocks to “Cahill Aerials”, “Eoin Clarke Solicitors”and “Connolly Accountants and Business Advisors Longford and Roscommon”.

Inny Shamrocks U13, U15 and U17 teams have qualified for their respective Shield Finals this year which is an indication of the huge work being done with our underage teams.

In advance of the finals, three local businesses have come forward with very generous sponsorship in the form of socks and shorts for all three teams.

Paul Cahill from “Cahill Aerials” sponsored socks and shorts for the Inny Shamrocks U13s.

Eoin Clarke from “Eoin Clarke Solicitors” sponsored socks and shorts for our U15 squad.

Ger Connolly from “Connolly Accountants and Business Advisors Longford and Roscommon” sponsored our Under 17.

Thanks very much to Paul, Eoin and Ger for their very generous sponsorship and support of our teams.

U13 Shield Final

Hard luck to our brilliant U13 team who put in a great performance on Sunday evening in the Shield final versus Maryland/Tang in Drumraney only to narrowly lose out.

In a great game of football, watched by a large crowd of enthusiastic supporters, two evenly matched teams battled it out from start to finish and either team could have claimed the win.

A Maryland/Tang goal, scored late in the second half gave the home team a lead that our lads, despite trying to the very end, just could not close.

This team can be very proud of themselves after a fantastic season in which they gave 100% in every game and done everything that was asked of them. Well done lads, you did your best and we can’t ask any more than that.

We’d hope to see every one of the 27 man panel back in training in the Spring, this is a great bunch of lads with a bright future ahead.

A special thanks to all the parents for getting the lads to training each Wednesday/Friday evening and transporting to matches the length and breadth of the county over the season.

Underage Training

Our Saturday morning sessions came a close at the weekend for 2021 and our U7 academy children were delighted to accept their certificates of achievement to mark the occasion.

We were delighted with the enthusiasm and consistency of our youngest members over the year and they earned their certificates and ice creams on Saturday! We look forward to watching their development in the years to come.

Our U9s and U11s took part in a mini blitz on Saturday to end the year and played some great competitive games.

We are grateful to all of the coaches who helped throughout the year to make our academy so successful, it would not be possible without them.🔵⚪️
