Underage Training

Following a brilliant first twp Saturdays, our underage coaching for boys and girls ages 4 - 10 continues every Saturday from 1:00 - 2:00pm at Bun GAA pitch. 4 - 8 year olds will train on the Astro while our U10s will train on the Ball Wall and main pitch. All are very welcome and we hope to see another great turn out next Saturday.

Inny Shamrocks U12s

Our Inny Shamrocks U12s had their first game of the season when they took on St Mary's Rochfortbridge in Bunbrosna last Friday evening.

After playing Go-Games football for their respective clubs Bunbrosna and Ballynacargy, this was the first game playing together as an Inny Shamrocks team, their first competitive game of football and first 15-aside game on a large pitch.

So all in all, a steep learning curve. Despite all of this, our lads gave a great account of themselves, never stopped working from first whistle to last and displayed great determination, teamwork and spirit.

Particularly in the second half, it was obvious to see that the patterns of play and teamwork were coming together which gives great hope for the season ahead.

Well done to each and every player who can be very proud of themselves this evening after a huge effort and the coaches who have done so much work with the team in the last few weeks.

PS; Our U12s were very well turned out in their brand new jerseys which were sponsored by Eoin Clarke & Co. Solicitors. Thanks to Eoin for his very generous sponsorship.

PPS; Well done to Declan Forfe who made his referring debut this evening and had a fine game, letting the play flow, explaining his decisions to the players and giving lots of encouragement.  Well done Declan.
