We are very grateful for the ongoing contribution we receive towards our Lotto from Club members and supporters, far and wide, without which we would not be able to run our Club.
Club Meeting
There will be a Club Meeting on Thursday next at 8:30pm in the Old Clubhouse. All welcome to attend. For more details you can contact our Secretary, Ken Conroy.
Bunbrosna GAA Lights Up
‘Ireland Lights Up’ concludes on Wednesday next and we encourage everyone to come along for the final week.
There has been a fantastic response to this initiative from the community and we are delighted to see the Walking Track being used in large numbers.
We are again inviting club members and members of the local community to get out and walk with us between 6.30 and 7.30pm.
Membership
Membership for 2024 is now available. The rates of membership this year can be found on Foireann. There are various options available for members as well as for those who wish to avail of access to our newly refurbished Gym. All membership must be done through Foireann.
In order to register, log on to your Foireann account from last year and follow the membership prompts. If you don’t have a Foireann account just log onto www.foireann.ie and register a new account and select Bunbrosna as your club. Once you have this done you will be able to select the membership option that suits you best.
All memberships include access to our newly opened Walking Track. For those who just wish to use the Walking Track, they can do so by purchasing Social Membership at a cost of just €30 for the year.
Scór Sinsir 2024
Scór meeting / get together will take place next Thursday 15th Feb at 7.30pm in Tormey’s Bunbrosna.
If you wish to compete this year as a singer, actor, dancer, musician or as part of the quiz team please pop down or touch base with one of the club members.
Hopefully we’ll have a good turn out and kickstart another successful year for the club! Everyone is welcome to attend.
Westmeath Hurlers
Well done to Shane McGovern who lined out at midfield again for the Westmeath Senior Hurlers on Sunday when they hosted All Ireland Champions, Limerick, in the Allianz Hurling League.
In what was a spirited performance from the hosts, Limerick emerged 6 point winners in a score line of 1:20 to 0:17. Shane chipped in with an excellent point from play in the first half.
Clann Gaels Open Day

Bun Grounds Crew
Grounds Crew meet every Tuesday at 10:30am in Bun for a cup of tea and to do some work around the pitch - all welcome!
Playground Play Date
On Friday next we host Messy Monkey's for Art's, Crafts & Fun from 3.00 - 4.00pm at the old Clubhouse. €5 per child and all are most welcome. Contact Kate to register on 087-3600994.
New Arrival
Congratulations from all at the Club to Finian and Amanda Newman on the birth of their baby girl Róise earlier this week. We are sure Pàidí, Finn & Sé will make great big brothers. We wish you all the very best for the future.
