Club Lotto

Club Lotto will take place next Sunday at 12:00pm in the Old Dressing Rooms for anyone that would like to attend. Our Lotto Jackpot is now at a record €14,600 which would certainly be a welcome lift for the month of January!!! It continues to be our primary source of revenue to fund the day to day running of the club.

Our Lotto can be done online by clicking on https://bunbrosnagaa.clubifyapp.com/products. Online entries must be in by 11:00am. Thank you to all who support our club lotto.

Bunbrosna GAA Lights Up

‘Ireland Lights Up’ continues on Wednesday next. We encourage everyone to come along for the final 3 Wednesdays.

Ireland Lights Up’ encourages GAA clubs across the 32 counties to light up and bring communities together to walk and talk in a safe environment during the dark winter evenings.

We are again inviting club members and members of the local community to get out and walk with us between 6.30 and 7.30pm. The walks will continue every Wednesday evening for the next 3 weeks. Participants are asked to register on the night and we hope to see a good turnout. Proper footwear and high vis jackets are advised!

Irish Life – ‘Every Step Counts Challenge’ 2024

In conjunction with ‘Ireland Lights Up,’ we’ve also enlisted for the ‘Irish Life – Every Step Counts Challenge’ 2024. Irish Life calls on clubs to collectively cover 4,000km over a five-week period (Jan 10th to Feb 12th).

There’s a total of €30,000 in club funding up for grabs from Irish Life, and clubs reaching the target qualify for a draw with prizes like O’ Neill’s vouchers.

Participants are requested to download the ‘My Life’ App and follow the steps in the attached pictures to record steps on smartphones/wearable trackers (Apple Watch, Fit-Bit, etc.)

Membership

Membership for 2024 is now available. The rates of membership this year can be found on Foireann. There are various options available for members as well as for those who wish to avail of access to our newly refurbished Gym. All membership must be done through Foireann.

In order to register, log on to your Foireann account from last year and follow the membership prompts. If you don’t have a Foireann account just log onto www.foireann.ie and register a new account and select Bunbrosna as your club. Once you have this done you will be able to select the membership option that suits you best.

All memberships include access to our newly opened Walking Track. For those who just wish to use the Walking Track, they can do so by purchasing Social Membership at a cost of just €30 for the year.

Operation Transformation

Well done to Anthony McCormack and Marion Mooney who starred on Operation Transformation last week on RTE 1 when representing Multyfarnham Pickleball Club. It is great to see local community projects on national television!

Walking Track

Thanks to Brian Crum at BC Services for all the work on progressing the next phase of our walking track. It’s proving to be a great addition to our facilities and is getting a huge amount of use since it opened in January.

Westmeath Hurlers

Well done to Shane McGovern who lined out at midfield for the Westmeath Senior Hurlers on Saturday when they opened their Allianz Hurling League campaign away to Galway. Unfortunately the result didn’t go Westmeath’s way but nonetheless we are very proud of Shane representing the club on the inter county stage.

Clann Gaels Open Day
